Library Events

November 2015

Next to our Halloween decorations I think this is my favorite decor in our library.  It's when the "Plump and Perky Turkey's" are displayed from our third graders.
Based on this book by Teresa Bateman.

Dress as a book character day.

It was wonderful to see book characters roaming the halls of Rock Canyon.  You were all so creative.

April is School Library Month!

Exciting things will be happening in our library all month long, starting April 2.

Be sure to check out frequently this month. We will be awarding prizes for the student and class with the highest circulation for the month and year so far.

April 16–20: In celebration of TV Turn-Off Week, we will have guest storytellers and the library will be transformed to create cozy reading spaces.

April 23–27: Drawing for tickets to see Rick Riordan in May at Timpview High school.

April 30: Prizes will be awarded for most books read.

April is also Poetry Month so come create book spine poetry!
