Story Book Pumpkin Parade

Our Storybook Pumpkin Patch is growing each day! 

They are sooo cute! 

 

Storybook Pumpkin

It's that time of year where our library transforms.  Halloween is a favorite holiday in
the library.  We are preparing for our story book pumpkin patch to begin appearing
the last week of Oct. Send in your small sized pumpkins ( the size of a basketball)
that have been transformed into your favorite story book character. No carved or cut pumpkins!Participation is voluntary. It's not a contest all students will receive a prize for participating.Please stop by after the parade to see the fun creations.

Monday October 6th

If you have enjoyed the Wings of Fire series be sure to go to the Provo City Library
on Monday October 6th at 7:00 p.m. to meet author Tui Sutherland. She is also written
book 5 in the Spirit Animals series it is called "Against the Tide".  See you there!

Geo Bee Qualifier

             Our Geography Champion has qualified for the State       

        National Geographic Bee that will be held on April 4th.

               We are so proud of him and wish him all the best!

                      

I SPY

Our I SPY window.

The students have enjoyed the I SPY theme throughout the library. 

It's not easy being green.

  One day we asked Mrs. Paxman's class to find all the green books 
in our library. We had a full cart in no time and there were still some on the shelves.

Spelling Bee 2014

  

This year spelling bee included a guest Pronouncer 

Anna Maria Sprenger.  She participated in

the National Scripps Spelling Bee in 2011 when she was a student at Centennial Middle School.
